Steven Booth

I am a self-taught American contemporary figurative and aviation artist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I started my art career in 2015 painting gifts for friends. That hobby turned into an obsession, and finally into a way of life. I create art nearly every night. 

After spending six years working in oils, I decided to take the momentous leap into acrylics. Now, in my seventh year, I've added digital art creation to my repertoire. which is based on my years of experience as an artist and graphic designer. 

Inspired by living in California for nearly my whole life (notwithstanding moving to Wisconsin in early 2022), I like to paint the beauty of the ocean, and beautiful things found in, around, and above it. If you're coming to this page before viewing my artwork, you should know you will find many beaches, beautiful women, surfing themes, aircraft, beautiful places, and other modes of transportation. 

My art is filled with peace, love, beauty, and serenity. Yes, I paint aircraft traditionally labelled "warplanes," but having earned my pilot's license when I was still in my teens, I associate flying with intense joy and happiness, not violence. So even though some of my planes may have weapons poking out here and there, they are never used in my art. Take that as you will.
